Proctor Pizza started life as Casino Pizza on the corner of Boundary Avenue and Highway 2 around 1987 by Peggy Peterson and moved in the late 80’s to its current location and became Proctor Pizza and Sub Shop. Through the years there have been changes inside the store, a Guns and Roses pinball machine, booths to sit in and a whole lot of Duluth Massabi & Iron Range memorabilia. After 35 years of hard work to create the best pizza in the Northland and become a pillar in the community of Proctor, Peggy decided it was time to retire, spend time with the grandchildren and at the cabin.
On November 15th 2022 Peggy handed over the shop and it became Proctor Pizza and Subs.
Since December of 2022, Chad, Eric and Nikki have come up with a “pizza of the month” starting with the Uncle Mac, named for Eric’s uncle. After taking over we have added several specialty pizzas and will continue to add more creatively.
Proctor Pizza and Subs has also stepped up in the community by not only sponsoring youth athletics and race cars, we are also proud sponsors of RailsTV, A Night to Shine, the REA3D foundation, Beyond the Yellow Ribbon, VFW post #137, and Proctor Drama Club.
